You need to drain a lot if you use it at low temperature or live in a hot climate

I have mixed feelings about this conditioner. This is my 4th AC (not all de longhi) - I use my 24-7 to keep the fan circulating and bring cool outside air in (I work with the window open - I live in a 65 degree climate), so I replace every few years. I had another brand that was cheaper (I had 2 total) but it made a rattling noise and was a little louder and I bought another brand that was so loud I returned it immediately. So I was very happy that it didn't make any rattling noises and was quiet enough. To be honest I thought I needed quiet comfort but never used it. It's not much quieter and half the cooling. I searched and researched many brands and waited for this one to go on sale for around $430. I would never pay the high regular price ($630) for it, but $400 is fine. Bracket. NOW FOR WHAT I DON'T WANT - first the high speed fan stage failed for the first few months, I just didn't do any service or return because I can't imagine getting it back without problems, plus I would be without air conditioning. Second, I really don't like that this brand has vents on the top that can't be adjusted. My other units were shorter with angled adjustable vents and this one blows right in my face when I want it to blow straight into the room (annoying when I'm sleeping) the condenser doesn't vaporize and you have to constantly dump it. So I live in a temperate climate, not a hot climate, and I have to constantly drain the water, sometimes a few times in a matter of minutes if I run it at 64 degrees, to cool the room first as soon as I set them it back to 75 - 80 degrees. so empty. I also can't tell why it sometimes has water in it and sometimes not, and I never use a dehumidifier, it doesn't seem to be the rhythm or reason. With my other brands I have never had to lower the car. For those of you who live in hot climates, this can be a problem. But even though I mentioned many issues, I still love my car, I wish de Longhi would make these changes and I would buy their brand forever. So I am about to buy a new one which I would probably do now, it depends on how long it lasts before needing to be replaced. I've been using it for about 2 years now. real car.
