Review on πŸ”Œ Home Audio Terminations Assembled with Blue Jeans Cable by Simo Ramsey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well made proprietary wire, extremely reliable, expandable and locking connectors.

Good construction, custom dimensions, quality components, proprietary cables, highly reliable connectors, and *very* affordable prices. There is even a test report. If you want to try bi-wiring I can't think of a better cable or company than Blue Jeans Cable. I looked at many bi-wire cables from several companies before buying them. Some of them are "prettier" and also use the Canare 4S11 cable I was looking for, but in the end I was won over by published specs, custom reviews, ultrasonically welded (not soldered) connections, and banana/slide/latch connectors". Cable quality, expandable/locking welded banana plugs are likely to offer long-term reliability and the best performance regardless of price or brand. Also, a good thing is that the couplings unscrew and slide down, completely exposing the welds. You can see for yourself how the wire is connected with is welded to the plug. It will also make cleaning quick and easy. Eventually all raw copper will oxidize and affect performance, so being able to clean connectors quickly and easily is a nice bonus. For more configuration options, check out Blue Jeans' website Cable many options, Ste cker styles, custom lengths, etc. Regardless, I saw no need to leave Revain as they had exactly what I wanted. The only point of criticism that is hardly worth mentioning is that the cables look a bit "simple". With welded connectors that cannot be removed, adding a flexible braid can be a bit tricky. I believe you can add braiding when customizing and purchasing from the Blue Jeans website. For do-it-yourselfers, Blue Jeans Cable sells accessories - a cable on a leg, various connectors and a cable. Adding a flexible braid or other covering is easy if you take the DIY route when buying direct from BJC. The only downside is that the DIY doesn't get any welds, the main reason I bought them. I feel like this company employs engineers or is otherwise heavily influenced by engineers rather than marketers. That's good for the customer. happy customer Inexpensive, proprietary wire and highly reliable welded and expandable connectors. Highly recommended - repeat and future customer for sure.
