I bought black and dark gray for my 16 year old son. He's about 6ft 1in and maybe no more than 150lbs, he's lanky and skinny so although a medium would have been better for the waist I bought the large for the length. He definitely needs to use string but the length was too long. Perfect. I want them to make them medium sized. He said he thought the gray was bigger than the black even though they were both big. The fabric is heavy so I think it's perfect for October weather. If I bought them for the summer, he would be too hot in them. These are very basic joggers but just what my son wanted. I just wish there were more sizes. Not all boys are short!
