Review on IFJF Replacement FL3Z 9928408 AB Reinforcement Anti Theft by Joey Quade

Great at first, and that's how it works, but quickly starts to rust.

They are ok, much cheaper than OEM and delivered very quickly. Would have liked security screws as the spikes have key locks. I wish the t30 tip was included. The extra screw is good. The finish looks good but is thin and has a few scratches, time will tell how it holds up. No impact wrench required, I used it on a bolt and it was overkill. The slow/high torque drill bit set is perfect, just remember to lubricate the screws! I used bearing grease. The only problem I had with installing it was finding the right tip. I used a T27 and it worked, but I slashed a bit, the screws did a good job, they're obviously hardened from having to cut the holes themselves. I would definitely recommend them to anyone at the moment. Update after the installation last night the car stood overnight (no rain) in the morning the screws started to rust. Some bastard was hoping they'd look new as a truck for at least a month or two. The update has used them for just over a week, it has rained once and the trucks have been washed once and these brackets are rusting through the textured paint and all the screws are completely rusted. Live in Florida so no snow no salt on the roads, weather was great so no real excuse for that other than they're just cheaply made.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • everything is ok
