A keeper for me, great set for the money!

I hesitated to buy this keyboard and mouse because of some reviews and because I'm very picky about the input devices on my computer. To be honest I pulled the trigger based on the look as I wanted the white and silver set to blend into an almost all white space. There just aren't that many keyboards/mice that color, so I figured I'd give it a try. Well, for now, I'm glad I did. Dimensions: The keyboard is approximately 14.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches high. The thickness (from your desk to the top of the keyboard) is approximately 3/4 inch at the top of the keyboard. , except for 1/4 inch at the bottom so the keyboard tilts slightly. The mouse is approximately 4.5 inches top to bottom and 2.5 inches side to side. The height is 1/4 inch at the front end of the mouse. , about 3/4" in the middle and a little over 1/2" at the bottom. It's difficult to measure the height as it's curved to fit the hand, but it feels flatter to me than the Microsoft mouse I've used before. I thought it would bother me, but it's actually a lot more convenient. Weight: I don't have a scale for actual weight, but the keyboard is light enough to easily carry with one hand, but not so light that it moves or slides across my slick wooden desk. It doesn't look cheap to me and seems well made. The mouse is very light, easily slides on the table without a carpet, only when shaking it makes a barely noticeable rumble. Lag: The mouse has no lag at all. He moves quickly across the screen, hurtling like a bullet. As far as I can tell, the keyboard has no lag. Keyboard Noise: Many say it's "quiet", others say it's loud and clicky. It sounds more like noise to me, but not really. Not exactly quiet, but not annoying either. I would say it's a matter of tolerance for everyone. I added a video so you can hear the keyboard. My phone is right next to it and the room is completely quiet so you can feel how loud it is. I'd say adjust the speakers so someone is speaking at a normal volume, then listen to the keys. Overall impression: I like this set. A plus is that you only have one USB dongle that can be used for both mouse and keyboard. So if you don't have enough USB ports but need both a regular keyboard and a mouse, this is a good feature. As already mentioned, I am very picky when it comes to my input devices. I don't like hitting the keys, I like them light but not soft. These keys are springy and responsive. I find them a bit difficult to press and my hands and arms get tired after long periods of typing, but I have muscle, tendon and joint issues all over my body so it's not uncommon for me. fall asleep but I didn't notice when it was. It always drew attention when I first started using it. The mouse goes to sleep, but just press the scroll wheel or any other button and it wakes up immediately. Better than a dead battery in the morning. There's an on/off button, but who remembers that? By the way, both the keyboard and the mouse are powered by AA batteries. Two for the keyboard, one for the mouse. The color of the keyboard is aluminum or silver for the base. The buttons are white, with very dark gray letters and numbers. They are black for the function button and function icons like mute and volume. The mouse is mostly white, with silver trim around the perimeter and silver accents on the scroll button, as well as a small middle button that I can't seem to use. I use Windows 10 PC, it works fine. The drivers seemed to be installed normally, there were no problems with the configuration. I've only been using it for a few days but I'm glad it's a keeper. The only thing I'm missing is a side button that I could use to map the zoom in/zoom out function of, say, my Microsoft mouse. I really miss it, but other than that I had no other worries. A decent set for the money in my opinion.
