Review on Linksys USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter for MacBook Air, Chromebook, Ultrabook (USB3GIG), Black by Matthew Outlaw

I've been using them for years since version 2.0usb. They are cool. They work well in Fast Ethernet 100Mbps. They also go to work a lot. So I had a few. Use it, USB3GIG, on both Dell Win10/7 laptops and MacBook Pro, just plug and play. So fiber gigabit is currently available to a group of my customers. I ran some speed/bandwidth tests with speedtest com and then tested over a direct cable with iperf. Results NOT ANYWHERE NEAR Gigabit 1000Mbps. The best I got with iperf and 3ft cat6 was 183Mbps. And oddly enough it was pretty much the same reading I got from my customers on fiber using speedtest com. So there is currently a laptop with a Gigabit Ethernet connection on the market.
