Review on πŸ›οΈ Popmoon 304 Stainless Steel Bed Support Legs - Adjustable Height 6-1/2" and 14-3/4" - Set of 3 by Janice Turner

Poor quality control

Furniture isn't made the way it used to be. The side rails on a double bed often weaken over time and the mattresses and springs fail. I'm prone to OCD and love to add support before the inevitable happens so I bought 3 sets of these Popmoon bed slat supports. I couldn't fully install the three legs because the screw threads weren't drilled through. I tried drilling a hole but I was afraid I might damage the internal threads so I gave up. I only discovered this after I had already attached all nine to my slats. What an inconvenience. I've used The Claw's one-piece body/pillars in the past and never had a problem. I also noticed that the rubbers on The Claw's one-piece mount are solid and of a much better quality. At first I couldn't find them again so I ordered a pop moon. I don't think I will be ordering Pop Moon again as I now have to return 3 of these and wasted my time putting my bed together before my mattress set was delivered. And don't you know that I've found support for The Claw again now? The listing says 3/4" screws were included, but I received tiny #8 1/2" screws which are not appropriate for this type of project. My bed was thin 1/2 inch plywood slats and I could almost bend them to the floor without breaking lol. But they have really good screw holes that line up with the holes in the side rails. Instead of throwing it away I glued and screwed the 2x4 to the underside. It really added a lot more support while reducing the distance to the ground. Now the chances of the support faltering are even lower. I like the technology, which is an attempt to replicate Talon's functionality. But quality control is totally lacking and 1 out of 3 is faulty.
