Second painting of the garage floor. The first time I did all the prep work that every manufacturer insists on. Unfortunately I used cheap paint and it only lasted a couple of years at most. This time I did NO prep work other than sweeping the garage. There was a small spot where oil was dripping and I cleaned that spot. I painted the floor and within 3 hours I had everything in my garage. I waited 6 hours to drive the car, knowing that I have to wait 48 hours. The paint holds up well and the tires haven't chipped, which is what most people complain about. I wasn't looking for a $500 paint job that would last 10 years. I just wanted to clean up my ugly garage floor. I did it and couldn't be happier. Will it continue? May be. probably no. If it starts to wobble it's my fault but so far it's looking good!
