I am extremely dissatisfied with this watch. I've had the same watch I bought at Macy's for years. Maybe that's the difference. Sell better. I have NEVER had a problem with that! Today is the 3rd day I've worn a new watch, water got on it AND got in it while washing my hands before work. Since I was at work, water spread on the dial. I haven't been near water since I've been here. I'm afraid to try a replacement for fear the same thing will happen.
