I connected a USB charger and neither the voltmeter nor the USB charging sockets worked. I double checked that my fuse is good and that I have voltage at the plug and everything is fine. As disappointing as that was for my off-road bike, and it's the dead of winter and I was in no rush to install the charger. No, I can't return it! Of course I cannot recommend this charger. Update: I bought another similar charger and encountered the same problem. I eventually found out that some of those cheap USB chargers/voltmeters had reversed polarity for some reason. It may be worth taking the time to reconnect the SAE connector to reverse the polarity (don't forget to put the fuse on the positive side) or to buy a more expensive charger.
