When I have to clean a large job site it means I have to set up the Shop Vac in one place and move it around several times because the hose just isn't long enough. This extension hose reduces the problem. A few things I don't like about the hose: The hose is advertised as being compatible with Craftsman Shop vacuums. In fact, the clip that is supposed to attach the hose to the vacuum cleaner doesn't snap into place. It's not really a big problem because the hose fits snugly into my shop vacuum but never goes far enough to engage the clip. This means that sometimes you have to go too far behind the hose and pull it out of the vacuum cleaner. Another problem is finding a place to store the hose when not in use. It's big and takes up a lot of space. In general, I like that you can set it up once and don't have to put the vacuum cleaner everywhere.
