When I opened this LED candle set, I was a little disappointed with its appearance. They didn't look as real as some of the other fake candles I have. Changed my mind after tuning in. They look very real from a distance and very bright at the maximum brightness setting. You can turn off the smaller starlights wrapped around the candle and let just the candle itself glow. Who would want to make it beyond my understanding because these lights are the beauty of these candles! With the remote control you can turn them on and off, set the timer for 2, 6 or 8 hours! You can have flickering candles or a constant solid candlelight. I have them on the wall above in a glass lantern and the remote control and timer function are perfect for my use of these candles. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend them or buy them again! There are no downsides at all. These candles are beautiful and the atmosphere they create is perfect.
