Toyota gave me a ridiculous price to replace a faulty sensor on the back of my Corolla 08. I bought a Toyota OEM sensor from an online dealer and a few local people at the muffler shop installed it. I think they ruined my tire in the process, but that doesn't matter. Anyway, I bought this tool and was able to program the new sensor and the LIGHT IS OUT! Technically this will only program their own sensors that they sell (Autel). But what you can do is read the information from the sensor with a tool and then write it to the car's computer through the OBD2 port. Actually, the process was pretty easy. I unpacked the tool, loaded it up, updated the software to the latest version, and then used it to complete that task. The nice thing is that I can continue this process in the future and save a fortune! Very satisfied. Updating the software the first time was a bit iffy as you use your computer, download the program and use it to update the instrument via the computer's USB port. cable included. They also give you a cable to connect to the OBD2 on the car, as well as a magnet. (I don't know why yet).
