Our dog is afraid of separation and pees in the cage when we are not at home . His legs and hair will soak up all his urine until we can bathe him when we return. We recently purchased this product and have only been using it for two days but have seen much more improvement in our dog. His urine would just flow right into the area under the net and his body and legs wouldn't get dirty at all. We didn't have to bathe him these days. The mesh size was true to size; It fits perfectly in our 30" cage, although it's not a Midwest brand cage (our dog is 9 pounds; it's a large cage, but we didn't want to buy a new cage). The only thing about it was that our dog's paws got a little red from his constant cage walks (due to separation anxiety) and he's not used to stepping on the nets, but we've definitely noticed an improvement and that's that he's getting a lot sleep more often than before. I think it could also be because it's a grille that's above the ground so the dog gets more chilled. I would recommend this product but please be careful of your dog's paws.
