We try to reuse and recycle as much as we can around our home, but one thing we can't seem to give up on is using a paper towel to wipe our groceries in the cover the microwave. I hate splashes and have to cook covered, but we hated wasting paper towels every time. I saw them and thought they were worth trying and they were great! They keep flat so I just put them next to the microwave and take them out and put them on top of my food. If the bowl is too high, we still use the lid and just slide it against the bowl. They can be a bit difficult to open and close at first, but will loosen over time. They are super easy to clean. I didn't even have to wash it in the dishwasher. I just give it a quick rinse in the sink while it's still warm and the splatters go right away. It's easy enough to teach your husband how to use them ;-)
