I used to keep my insurance and registration in a paper envelope in the glove box but it got wet so I put both in a plastic ziplock bag. It seemed like a wise decision until I cleaned my car and threw the package away as if my insurance and registration were just junk that I obviously didn't know about until the police pulled me over. Apparently, throwing away your registry is some kind of crime (not just an accident). That's what a humble drug dealer or aspiring warlord would do. I am now submitting my documents to this registration and insurance office. It's easy to find in the glove compartment, keeps me organized and, who knows, maybe even keeps me out of jail.
