Installed when it arrived but I didn't have to print anything. It printed alignment sheets perfectly and then sat for a month and a half until I needed to print something the other day. He printed a page that was a jumble of colors. When I went to reprint it turned out to be a "cartridge error". Removed, reinstalled, still an error. I took it out and carefully cleaned the chip strip, but that didn't help either. Made a photocopy of something yesterday (in black that I also bought from this brand) and it worked great. Maybe I just got a bad cartridge. There is no possibility, returning it as the deadline has passed and frankly you don't feel like paying for another bad one. Disappointing. I was so excited about the good price but I think you get what you pay for. We must go back to genuine HP color cartridges. (Sad face.)
