Review on 🚰 Delta Faucet RP22734 Replacement Faucet - Small Size, Unfinished by Greg Peitz

Replaced a Delta RP19804 cartridge in my 19 year old shower faucet. This particular nut is the correct size for the valve that the RP19804 fits into. The nut is of good build quality and comes with a solid, clean thread. Will take a long time. The original nut was badly rusted and difficult to remove. It's highly recommended to have these on hand before you start as yours will likely corrode as well. Replace the nut at the same time as you change the cartridge to ensure the seals are properly seated/compressed in the valve body so you don't have to touch them again. Use a wire brush to clean the threads on the valve body and wipe off sand before installing the nut. If the nut is clean, it should turn easily and tighten without excessive force.
