Considering the price this is a very good open face motorbike helmet. The plastic visor is removable and the helmet is DOT approved for wear in US states that require a motorcycle helmet. This is a good option for a passenger or anyone who rides a moped or wants to save some money before buying a nicer helmet. I have a few complaints about this helmet that are worth considering before ordering. The main thing is the size. I usually wear a big one, but I ordered this one in XL because sometimes those cheaper helmets run small. I was right and it hardly fits. It's not uncomfortable, but I would recommend ordering at least one size up. It's so tight that I really can't wear the glasses that come with it without significant discomfort. In any case, glasses are more of an add-on, they're cheap and do the job, but they're not very comfortable to wear. They look cool and go well with the helmet. Overall, I really like the look of this helmet. It has an old school look that goes well with vintage motorcycles and mopeds. The chin strap doesn't have a quick-release fastener, it's more like old helmets that have to be threaded through metal buckles every time you put them on. It won't take long, but it's hard to do with gloves on, so that's another thing to consider. Sizing issues aside, I'm happy with this helmet and have been wearing it a lot on short rides lately.
