later This air pump did a good job of inflating the inner tubes of my river rafters. I have three complaints about using it. First, there must be a hose from the pump to the float that is being pumped. This is a bit awkward when inflating tubes in the dark. To make matters worse, the power cords were only 6 feet long. When trying to pump our lights with the 12V power cord, the length of the cord was almost unusable. This cable plugs into the cigarette lighter socket, but it is always located in the center of the car's dashboard. Back then, the 120V power cord was the same length, so it's pretty much useless too. In other words, you need an extension if you use one of the power supplies.
