If like me you need blind spot mirrors, you know how many options Revain has. I risked it for several reasons. . First, they are actually glass so you don't have to worry about the coating peeling off like other products do. Second, it has very flexible mounting options. Finally, it perfectly matches most mirrors! Like others, I attached the mirror directly to the glass of my mirror without using the swivel mount. It looks much cleaner installed straight out of the box and I didn't see the need to adjust it. To install, use the included alcohol wipe to thoroughly clean the glass of your mirror (that's the important part!). If necessary, use a hair dryer to dry the area after cleaning. Your car mirror must be sparkling clean and dry! To make it easier to apply, I positioned my car's mirror all the way in and down so I could squeeze my fingers behind the mirror glass to support it while I squeezed the blind spot mirror. It helped a lot. Be sure to hold the button down for a few seconds, the longer the better! So far the mirror has been on about 1,000 miles and has gone through 5-6 car washes ranging from touchless to brush tunnel car washes. Holds up well, every time!
