I like the look of the unit itself. The fire effect is ok. It's by no means realistic, but the sense of warmth it gives is good enough to justify it. The proportions of height and width are good, appear modern and not too narrow in the firebox. Some other units look odd with a small firebox. It looks right. This is important every now and then. If you can mount it on the wall, that's no problem. The board works fine. I use it with the included stand. You really should update this part. It looks like Dollar Store patio furniture, but that's good news. it's small, low and not where people would look. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase. He loses a star because the image of the fire doesn't look real enough.
