Review on 💨 Efficient Comfort: Vornado VMH600 Whole Room Stainless Steel Heater with Auto Climate Control and Remote by Lindsey Baker

Our heat pump (central heating) failed last November. Long story short, I hesitated, thinking I could fix it by replacing the condenser, and did nothing but hook up 2 Vornados to heat the bottom floor of the 1860 sq ft house. In our bedroom we used a 1500w MVH which I bought in 2015 and am currently considering in our living room. I was amazed at how well this technology works. We live in the south east and the coldest was around 15 degrees but we had MANY days in the 30's. According to my thermostat, these guys have been keeping the bottom 1300 square feet between 66 and 70 on the first floor. They both worked nearly 24 hours a day, seven days a week and added about $100 a month to their electric bills (and yes, I know that was stupid of me). not to correct the heat). In the end, both devices were extremely reliable and I had no problems. When you install it, direct the heat to the opposite side of the room and they'll surely heat the entire room, even moving to the next room if the door is open. These are nothing but heaters that people like me (40+) grew up with. Not only was the old heater extremely dangerous, but it would fry you or freeze you 10 feet away. This thing brings insane warmth and still feels cool. Unlike a regular heater, it does a ridiculous job of spreading heat throughout the room. I can't stress enough how well they both heat. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that the thermostat doesn't seem to be very accurate and the MVH seems to work a lot cheaper. It's accurate when you first turn it on, but the longer it runs, the more confused it gets. We set ours to 88 degrees, which it never reached, and still warmed the house. It looks far better than MVH (apart from attracting fingerprints) and can be left unused without being an eyesore. I'm a little confused as to why the ratings have dropped so much lately. I'm not sure if Vornado had a bad production batch or what happened. I bought mine in fall 2017, MVH 2015 and both have many hours of use. I highly recommend both!
