Broken where the screw meets the plastic

Two days after installation I noticed it was loose. I didn't over tighten it, just a half turn from finger stop, and it broke where the screw meets the plastic. The "cup" holding the nut is simply broken. Used a bunch of hot glue to attach it to the grate and only time will tell if it sticks. It looks good, it's a clear plastic that sits on top of a colored background, giving it a sort of glow in daylight.
