Arizona! it's a hot dog fries something plastic for a few years. The hard ABS SPLIT grip sleeve cover on the tailgate of my cargo trailer needed a new one. But he could not find it in vain. I've been working with silicone tape that does electrical work. Thought it would work, but it needs to be wider than 1/2" and 3/4" and definitely thicker than most silicone straps. Found it. Knew it would work great. Also, much remains to repair the trailer wiring harness. Worked as expected. Wider also means fewer turns of wire are wound. Like the wider and thicker mil of this silicone band.
