Good but wish the side chambers (buns) had a better air shaft/plug. The ones that use them have an internal valve (clear rubber flap) that's so tight that I had to use a narrow, long nozzle to poke it inward to let air in, making it very slow. Usually a low pressure, high volume pump is used for something like this, so the choke shouldn't be that tight. Also, improper handling of the needle will cause some air to escape after it is withdrawn. However, once filled, the kids loved it! It's definitely not as dynamic as a tube since it doesn't actually ride on the water, but it's a lot of fun for younger kids (or older folks) who just want to stay on the dam thing. It's too damn big and heavy to fit on an 18ft boat. But it's pretty easy to call it off. I'm glad I put all the flaps to one side so it can be rolled up. The kids also just enjoyed playing on it without jerking. Games like King of the Hill etc. The outer vinyl seems pretty solid and the price was under two hundred! The next one we get will be a steerable flat type so more aggressive kids can drive it out of the boat's wake. Some Amazon reviews said that one of those big balloons you put in the middle works to get the hot dog out of the way, so maybe we give it a try, although I don't need more stuff in my tiny boat!
