I am an ATV guide in the Mojave desert. I bought this helmet for the summer. The tinted visor offers clear vision while reducing the harsh rays of the sun. My face even feels cooler compared to the clear visor I had before. The white shell definitely reduces the temperature inside when worn in the sun. This is the second model of this style that I have purchased. I really like the change in padding design as it fits my helmet radio much more comfortably. The interior is decently constructed and can be easily removed for cleaning or, in my case, adding radio equipment. For a more affordable helmet, this is one I definitely recommend. Offers comfort and light weight to reduce neck strain on long travel days, as well as better peripheral vision compared to traditional goggles. Even at over 110 degrees of heat, there is proper air circulation. Another aspect I really like about this helmet is how the visor and sun visor are attached with metal screws whereas many other brands use plastic which components are easy enough to remove and swap out if needed. If you love me and want to personalize your helmet, the body material is easy to sand and paint, and takes paint well.
