I've done a lot of piercings since I was young and I've also gone to the store (more than 20 piercings total), so I'm pretty used to it. This set is good but the jewelry is too small for a new piercing. The bars are too short for a fresh piercing, leaving little room for swelling should it occur. They should be longer. The supplied jewelry is suitable for an already healed piercing. The clips are a bit questionable, but don't expect too much from the plastic. I love that while the jewelry isn't suitable for a fresh piercing, it's a decent set overall. It contains all the basic elements necessary to perform the piercing correctly, while respecting the standards of hygiene.
