My old power supply broke and I had to replace it because my 10 year old Dell Windows 7 computer contains 32 bit engineering software which is irreplaceable. Bought this power supply and am very happy with it. However, as other people have commented, I had to make some changes, which wasn't that hard. I had to cut a pigtail for the hard drive power cords from my old power supply and solder/shrink it to the new one to get to my dual hard drive. The power supply fits perfectly into the original place and snaps into place. But the other issue was that I had to drill a hole in the back of my computer case to attach the PSU since it is a typical replacement and the screw holes were placed differently on the new PSU. Other reviewers noted that the fan is noisy. It's a little louder, but not annoying. Overall, as I said, I am very satisfied. My Dell is up and running!
