These 19 ounce glasses are perfect for red wine and any wine. The quality of the crystal exceeded all my expectations. The edge is thin but not fragile. The long stems are elegant. The shape is perfect. It's also relatively durable. I've been drinking from these glasses for about two months and wash them daily and none of them have broken in my hand or in the dishwasher. Any thin crystal wine glass will shatter if too much pressure is applied when cleaning the inside. I recommended not leaving a glass of red wine for long. (Rinse it before bed.) If it sits too long, a red ring may form on the underside, requiring pressure to wear off and increasing the risk of breakage. Usually using a glass and shaking a glass of warm soapy water solves the problem. I highly recommend these glasses. They're the right size and shape, and you can't beat the quality for the price (I paid under $30 for four, but they cost more). I've been drinking wine from different glasses of different sizes, shapes and qualities for over fifty years and, in my opinion, it's impossible not to be amazed by them.
