Review on 🚿 Unclog Bathroom Sinks, Showers, and Swimming Pool Drains with Drain King 186, 1.5 to 3 Inch by Richard Muncy

I used the DrainKing on a 2" laundry drain to try and remove debris that is causing slow drains. On my LG HE front-load washing machine, the drain pipe overflowed every time I loaded laundry. Even the smallest load with a minimal amount of water will overflow the drain pipe. I tested the capacity of the laundry drain pipe using a garden hose and faucet. I could only get about 25-30 seconds of water flow before it filled the drain pipe and overflowed it. Pipe. I gave Drain King every chance of success by following the instructions to the letter and even unplugging any nearby drains and running water through the Drain King for 10-15 minutes at a time. Unfortunately, after 4 different attempts, Drain King did not clear or improve my clogged laundry drain. Eventually I gave up on the Drain King and rented a commercial 50 foot powered drain snake/auger. After using the drain pipe once, the clog was completely cleared and my washing machine can now drain a full load of water, even with the Water Plus setting turned on. During my most recent test, I counted water from a garden hose flowing through a laundry drain for over 240 seconds with no evidence of overflow/slowing/rewinding. Drain King may work for some people who have a blockage in close proximity to the P-trap. , a nearby cleaning point, or a drain. However, if the clog is downstream, in my experience you'll need to rent a commercial 50-75 foot drain snake or hire a plumber to investigate the problem further.
