What are you doing wrong that doesn't stick

I read a lot of reviews that the product doesn't stick - I thought so too originally, but I found a problem and I want to explain. This product has a protective film as stated in the instructions but it can be very difficult to see. It is the smooth side surface of the product that needs to be removed. It can be very difficult to get started, but here's what I found that works. Using sharp tweezers, grasp the foil by the corner between your fingers so that only 1/16 inch is sticking out, then insert one end of the tweezers into the edge of the foil. Yes, the foil is very thin and it's difficult to line up the tweezers to get it in the middle, but it works. When you receive it, you will see the tweezers slide between the two foils. Squeeze a little more and wiggle so you can grab one of the films, then grab both and separate them. Holds well but doesn't stick. You will feel "static sticking" when you pull them apart. To get it on the window, first spray LOTS of water on the window - don't be stingy. Carefully place the foil on top of the water, but don't press yet. Use this opportunity to get the foil in the perfect position. When it's where you want it, hold a piece of foil with your fingers and use a squeegee to squeeze the water out from under the foil and move it away from your fingers. Then place your fingers on the side you just pushed out and push out the rest. Water should be squeezed out from under the film to the brim where it will flow down the window. Wipe with a towel and you're done. Once I understand the process the film is amazing and works as described. Very happy now and I hope you will be too!
