It was amazing but quickly failed.

For the first 1 1/2 months this heater was fantastic. Heat output at low RPM was higher than most heaters I've used at high RPM, and high settings were ridiculous. Unfortunately, last week the heating failed without warning during operation. Part is the power button which actually melts in the "off" position. After the heater initially turned off, I turned the knob to the off position and allowed the heater to cool down a bit. I later tried turning it back on to see if it would work, but the button was stuck in the off position. It really stuck, like something had melted and then solidified again. quality control. I'm disappointed in Stanley.
