I don't need any other digital instrument that requires a battery so I tried this analog inflator. Until now it was too easy to use, easy to read and accurate. I've seen a lot of people leave negative reviews because the inflator is made of plastic which broke when tightening the quick release adapter on the tool. Here are some helpful tips if you decide to buy this inflator. The quick release adapter does NOT need to be screwed in as tightly as possible. First, wrap Teflon tape three times around the threads of the adapter. This will prevent air from escaping through the threads. Then attach the inflator to the quick release and hand tighten as tight as possible. Finally tighten gently with a wrench. It just needs to be done carefully. DO NOT OVERSPEED. Yes, I would also like the inflator body to be metal, but I also don't want to pay a fortune for it.
