Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Sargent Art 22-1520 Washable Brush Tip Markers, Set of 20 - Ideal for Creative Projects by Kelly Caballes

Not real brush markers.

Lately I've gotten really interested in adult writing and painting brushes and I love trying every brand I can get my hands on. From expensive to cheap. I was excited to try them as the price is very affordable. Here's my take on markers after a week: Pros: - Decent color palette, no doubles. dries fast.-Ink dries fast.Cons and crucial for me:-These are NOT REAL brushpens.-The tips are insanely hard, they're like a marker with a broad tip, they're shaped like a brush tip. - Due to the hardness of the nib it started shredding my pages even with light strokes and didn't bring back the original blobs of color - being new to brush writing the hard nib made it very hard not to try the brush writing style. - You don't get a full point, so trying to make a thin line is almost impossible. - These are not watercolor markers so they don't blend well or blend well with other paints. - color variety is decent but they are an odd mix with no doubles but some colors are really close. I ended up gifting them to my 7 year old daughter who also brush letteres with me and she won't even use them. Scientist. (They're water based and you can do amazing things with them, just don't buy prismacolor Premier for adult coloring books, they're alcohol based and will show through all your pages.) You really do get what you pay for. Per. So I think for the price they are technically in order. They make a great gift for a child who only uses them for coloring. Because they're inexpensive, it doesn't matter if the lid is removed or your child loses it.
