Great in structure, bad in practice.

Pros: Assembly was easy. If you have a ring spanner, you'll like this better than the Allen key that comes with it. The base is very well done. Wheels are great for carpets. It probably isn't hardwood floors, but expect that to be an issue. Adjustable lumbar pillow is good. Extra detail on each washer and bolt is a nice touch just in case. Four screws on the armrest ensure it doesn't wobble (just be low, see below). Cons: The seat itself has a padded center section and then two unpadded wings on the sides. Not comfortable. I added an extra center pillow to elevate me and sit over them. [Actually I had a piece of styrofoam from a craft store 18x24x4, it worked fine but ugly] 18x20 or 20x20 might work too. 16x18 is not big enough. From the seat come two metal supports that "connectโ€ the back. The guide slots in the back are so loose that I'm wondering if that back will fit the seat. The neck pillow between my shoulders is useless. The elastic can barely stretch enough to go through the top, which is perfectly workable. As mentioned by many others, the chair sits low. There are several interchangeable cylinders. Looking for: lift cylinder replacement, long, heavy (you can buy a kit with tools to remove the old cylinder) Armrests in their up position is what I would expect in a down position. Conclusion: Great chair for the money. when you are ready to use "Accessorize". Get a better cylinder ($30), extra padding ($20), spare casters if you need floor protection ($15).
