Review on 🚀 Enhanced Performance and Durability with Motorcraft FG-1083 FG1083 Fuel Filter by Jonathan Wilson

I have no problems with this filter and it is very similar to my car's original filter. I would buy this again. Note that removing and replacing the filter can be difficult. The main problem is that Ford used quick connectors to connect the fuel lines to the filter. They are great to install but very difficult to disable. There are two ways to remove and replace this filter: 1) get a suitable tool to disconnect the old filter, or 2) cut the metal lines and attach the new filter to the rubber fuel lines and clamps . I chose method number 1. I bought a Revain OTC 6509 Fuel Line Disconnect Tool and the tool turned out to be junk. I returned this and received a tool kit similar to the "Lisle 37000 A/C/Fuel Line Disconnect Tool Kit". These are simple plastic bottles that attach to the fuel line. You still have to use some force and push or pull the release tool in the right direction, but this worked for me. So this filter is great, but removing the old filter was a hassle. It was a 15 minute job that took 2 hours including purchasing another release tool at a local auto parts store.
