Updated August 2021 It was definitely worth every penny. I got a couple $10-$20 cheaper scratching posts from local pet stores as extras last year, but they all blew up after about a month or so. the other side until he moved on to the next. I came back to get another one. about them and I have tried many different brands and styles over the years. This scraper was definitely one of the sturdiest that lasted a month and still looks sturdy. It's stiffer and thicker than one of those cheap lightweight scrapers and I think it'll last another month or two. He enjoys it and uses it daily and I am happy with the purchase. It was also a cheaper option for me. I recommend it if you're looking for a good solid scraper that will last a while.
