I've been using hair bands for ten years and they are great for towel drying my hair as well as protecting my face after showering when I'm putting on contacts and applying skin care products . These wraps are made of fluffy microfiber and should be washed before first use for better absorption. They absorb moisture from my hair just like my old ones. My only complaint is that it's a bit more difficult to attach the twisted end to the button at the back of the head. The button is in the same place and the size is the same as my old bandages. I just think a thicker, fluffier towel gets in the way a bit. Otherwise, these headbands do exactly what they're supposed to do - soak up some water from damp hair before styling. – Debbie Lee Wesselman.
