Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Winsor & Newton Collection Drawing Ink Set: Black, White, Metallic - A Versatile Must-Have for Artists by Mandy Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Eh Not what I needed.

I really liked this ink set. Some of them can be diluted with water. Some can't. Some of them are a mixture of different pigments, so the main pigment is colored and the ink separates when diluted with water. Colors that weren't a problem: scarlet, purple, yellow, black, and orange. Brown, orange (on watercolor paper). Violet Color: Blue. Blue ink separates into blue and purple when it comes into contact with water or when the paper is held for too long. I wanted to be able to dilute them with water and mix them, but they don't consistently work for this purpose. I had to go back. Ink on dry paper, straight from the can, works well; most of the time. It is only semi-permanent and will peel off smooth paper more than jagged or fluffy paper.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Useless functions
