An almost essential accessory for EOS R
I have been a professional fashion photographer for almost 40 years. I was a bit reluctant to accept a mirrorless camera as part of my kit. (One reason is Canon's new standout lenses and the fast autofocus on ALL lenses.) The EOS R is fortunately slightly larger than its competitors. The battery grip, while adding some weight, gives my hand a secure grip on the camera and also adds an almost essential vertical shutter release. The grip comes with its own charger (USB-C) which, while I don't need it, is a nice touch. The handle also balances the body well with the large lenses.
