Too dark to be useful to me; Nice to have the option with batteries

First of all it's a $15 lighted mirror so I wasn't expecting perfection. It's light and big, which is what I expected for the price. But the lighting is dim and that makes it unhappy for me. Even at maximum brightness, there isn't much on my face. A big plus: In addition to the USB charging cable, you can also operate it with standard rechargeable batteries. That's a nice convenience.
