Not effective for washing
I mostly find them useless for removing odors considering that using detergents requires a soaking step during the wash to be effective (which seems reasonable). If you use them instead of detergent, you will not get the desired odor removal results. In addition, they are hardly suitable as dryer softeners. I use two at a time to use them up.
