The cable also provides an excellent signal over 100 feet. However, I had to splice the cable and was very surprised to see how greasy it was inside under the outer jacket. I'm assuming it's some sort of outdoor caulking, which is great, except I'm running it through the walls to an antenna in the attic, so it's not exactly a desirable perk in my situation. The grease made it difficult to bend the strands before attaching the new end connector, and when a few strands broke the grease stuck to everything. I was worried that smearing would result in a bad connection, but that wasn't the case at all, and even with the extra jack and wall jack, the signal was really excellent. The lube wasn't a problem at all, just a little messy and unlike anything else I've come across.
