Finding and replacing bulbs on old incandescent bulbs took longer than installing. I've been looking for a replacement LED for a long time. Unfortunately, it turned out that the same products were offered under different manufacturer names with the same problems. I finally took a chance on this one. PROS: 1. The length is as declared. Many others have reviews stating that the length is NOT as advertised. There's nothing worse than quitting your career after spending a few hours threading garlands up the stairs. 2. They work. I have read many other reviews where the strings did not work immediately after installation or stopped working once strung and hung.3. The light is warm white as advertised. Some others have reviews saying the light is more bluish. They have multiple fixed or blinking pattern modes, but DO NOT revert to a random blinking pattern when unplugged or turned off. That means you can use them with a timer if you want. Many other reviews of other products state that this is not possible. I want them to be fixed and timed; these works.5. The wires don't feel too flimsy like some of the others and they hang well. Fairly flexible in warm weather but not sure when it gets cold (I live in Arizona). CONS: 1. The notes say 4 strings can be connected together, which is TRUE, but I only used 3. The voltage drop is definitely affecting the farthest (4th) string as it is noticeably darker. It might not be something you'll notice at night without looking as it will be quite a distance from the first string. Unlike some others (you know who you are) I intend to update this review later when the season ends (in about a month). ).
