Review on πŸ’¨ Rhinox CO2 Generator Kit - Pressurized DIY System with Caps, Valves, 3-Way Connector, Tubing, and Pressure Gauge by Becky Chopra

Works great with a little patience.

First of all, if you think this kit can get you on track with your CO2 in an hour, stop and go. If you don't like playing around a bit, this isn't for you. This is a DIY kit, so you need a little help and thought. I used baking soda and citric acid and recommend you do the same. Don't use vinegar or anything like that. I added them to each respective bottle - A for ACID, B for BAKING SODA, swirled them and attached the lids. I used a small food scale to measure the amount. The needle valve was closed at this point. Bottle A was squeezed until a slight reaction occurred. The needle valve was opened and quickly closed and the system primed. I swirled bottle B several times and the pressure started to build. While the system is running, it rises a little more. I'm between 1 and 2 on the meter right now. I REALLY had to tighten the gauge with pliers to get it reading properly. Do not overtighten as this may damage the plastic fitting inside. Maybe I need a quarter turn. Getting the right BPS isn't easy, but you'll feel it. Set, wait 30 seconds and set again. I get about 2-3 BPS on my 40 gallon breeder. I use an all in one diffuser/bubble counter. Turn it off at night too, your plants don't need CO2 and you're in much greater danger of poisoning your livestock. week and a half, rose to about 4 basis points. I added a second more precise needle valve to the line. I use the one that comes with it as the on/off valve and the adjustment goes to the second valve. Since the second valve is not touched, I no longer have to reset the bps counter.
