Bought this because people say it's perfect for older cats with arthritis and limited mobility. My cat has severe arthritis and mobility issues and cannot step over the edges of the box. The measurement they don't give you is that the "shortest" measurement that should help your cat get in and out of the box is still 4 inches. The low tray I already have from Walmart was only $2.99 and was only 3 inches tall. so the new one is worse than the cheap one. **Updated after actually using the box for a week - it's too narrow and the cats don't have enough room to turn around to get out of the box, so they step on their litter. :-( I've found that the rounded corners also make garbage collection more difficult and I can't easily remove all the stuck debris.
