Bought this for my nephew who wears M on shirts. His chest size is 37 inches so it was a choice between small and medium. I went with the little one and it fit great. It looked great. It had to be petted. I believe the satin is mixed with something else, maybe polyester. I'm not sure. However, I didn't buy it for the sheer satin look. The price is great as the bow tie is around $20 and the vest is $30 or more so it was a really good price. When worn it looks like real satin so it was a perfect fit for my nephew who loved it.
