Review on Advanced Razorback Technology Infrared Belt Temp Gauge 3.0 for Can-Am Maverick X3 - Reliable Temperature Monitoring Solution by Lance Jenkins

Well done, great product

I installed a belt temp sensor 3.0 on my 2020 Turbo S 4 and am very happy with the overall fit/finish and performance of the sensor. The cables and connections are solid and when properly attached they look like they will last the life of my car. I installed the sensor in the 3:30-4 o'clock position on the secondary sleeve and routed the cable along the main wiring. Wiring harness under the RZR center console as shown in many YouTube videos. I had a lot of cable and really had to wrap and secure the excess in the front. I bought an automatic gauge with the intention of putting a gauge in it, but ended up installing it directly into the plastic to the left of my cluster (drilled a slightly smaller hole, then sawed it to a larger size for a smooth finish). ). The sensor itself is fairly noticeable and bright, and easy to understand at a glance. Some complain about the brightness because the unit doesn't have a dimmer, but they now have a newer model with that capability if that's important to you. I don't drive often at night so I prefer a light anyway. Where I installed the sensor (to the left and below the cluster level) it's easy to see, but it's not in line of sight while driving, so it's not in the way/distracting.

Pros
  • Absolutely great!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
