Update: Less than two years later, both of my kids stopped working. The light is on 24 hours a day. I tried turning them off to see if restarting would solve the problem, but that had no effect :( Apparently you don't save $ by switching to LEDs when they die so quickly. Previous review: I have this bought twice.In our previous home I used it to light up the living room for a motion sensitive wifi camera which I installed to catch a cat who decided to use the corner of this room as a toilet for a period of time as she walked by and the camera gave enough light to catch him in action. As it turned out, one light was enough to scare him off. In our new apartment (uncarpeted, of course!) I ordered a second one, and the second illuminates the laundry room as we open the double doors that hide the washer and dryer The light isn't powerful - it doesn't look like a 60 watt bulb - but it's enough to help me, finding the light switch in the lobby when it's night or no main light when it's day. There's often enough light in the laundry room that I don't turn on the switch and wait ten seconds for the fluorescent light to come on.
